Step 1

Medical - We can arrange this for you at a cost of £50.00 A lot of doctors charge in excess of £70.00. We will complete the D2 and D4 provisional licence forms with you and you will be required to post both forms, with your licence, to the DVLA.

Step 2

Theory - While you are waiting for your licence to come back from the DVLA (it can take up to 3 weeks) you should be studying for your theory test. We will supply you with theory/hazard perception discs to study from when you come for your medical. When you receive your licence back from the DVLA and are ready to sit your theory test, phone us and we will book this for you.

Step 3

Assessment Drive - Once you have received your licence back, phone us to arrange a 30 minute assessment drive with one of our instructors. From this drive the instructor will be able to ascertain how many training days you will need in order to pass your practical driving test on the last day of training.

Step 4

Driver Training - Only once you have passed your theory tests can you commence your practical driver training. we can also provide evening and weekend training in order to fit around your other commitments. On the last day of training you will sit your practical driving test.

Please note you must have a full ordinary car (category B) driving licence before you can apply for a provisional LGV/PCV entitlement.
